Periodontology is the specialty of dentistry that studies supporting structures of teeth and diseases that affect them, as well as cosmetic corrections of these structures.
Did you know that periodontitis, known also as gum disease, is the most common chronic infective disease in the world? It's estimated that about 80% of people suffers from a certain form of this disease. Periodontitis is a gradual process, often without any obvious signs to alert you. From the first symptoms till the final loss of teeth can take many years symptoms till the final loss of teeth many years can pass, so the patient accepts the situations and its gradual deterioration.

Read what we have written for you, find out everything about this disease and if you notice any of these symptoms or you realize that you might belong to a high-risk group for periodontitis, visit your dentist as soon as possible because this disease, if detected and treated, can be halted. If you don't like the appearance and shape of your gums, there are many available procedures we use for solving your problem and obtaining a perfect ''red-white aesthetics'' – harmony between red gums and white teeth.

Don’t loose time, start treating periodontitis on time!

We apply world’s best protocols
in treating periodontitis

The most important is to detect periodontitis on time and to treat it professionally

Treating of periodontal disease is more successful if using modern technologies

Soon after brushing your teeth, the bacterial deposits build up next to the gums, forming a plaque, an invisible film full of bacteria and its waste products, particles of food, saliva and discarded cells. If the soft bacterial plaque is not removed by a proper and regular maintenance of oral hygiene, it will result in inflammation of the gums, known as gingivitis.

Then gums bleed while brushing teeth, which frightens many people and they don't brush their teeth enough anymore, which only aggravates the situation.

If left untreated, this infection may progress to periodontitis (infection of deep structures).

It's important to emphasize that each periodontitis is always preceded by gingivitis, but each gingivitis doesn't have to progress to periodontitis. We can help you if you act on time!

Periodontitis is infection of deep structures (gums and bone). The loss of gums and bone causes the formation of a periodontal pocket. Further bone loss causes mobility – looseness of teeth and their eventual loss.
iTOP stands for individually trained oral prophylaxis. It's a preventive approach.

individually – every person has different teeth, therefore the training is individual
Trained – every person has to be taught individually on how to maintain good oral hygiene.
Oral – the mouth and the teeth are the only thing that needs to be maintained on daily basis
Prophylaxis – the prophylaxis means prevention, acting in time.

Only about 5% of population doesn’t suffer from any dental disease – gingivitis, periodontitis and decay. When your gums bleed, you usually don't do anything about that. The bleeding surfaces can be compared to the palm of the hand. Think what would you do if you had a wound of a palm size, would you visit the doctor? Relation patient – dentist is the relation of partnership. After the iTOP training, only 50% of our work is done. The remaining 50% is related to practical use of the things learned. We are at your disposal for any advice or dilemma. Please feel free to contact us because we truly care about your health. An adequate prevention provides a lifelong health of teeth and gums. We are here for you and we can help you.

Say STOP to periodontitis!
